The Food Forest Workshop

This workshop will help you understand the value of food forests and the holistic, integral role they play in eco-systems. Learn about the importance of food forests; design and construction considerations; how food forests work; and how to manage and maintain them organically across the seasons to maximise productivity and diversity. Food forests can be small or large and ensure local food production and food security on a local level.

Winter Permabee – The Food Forest

June 5 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

The Winter Permabee (first Sunday in June) is spent in the food forest, zone 2 at Bandusia Country Retreat. This day involves maintenance of the food forest including repair of swales, animal system maintenance,  pruning of fruit trees, chop and drop of legumes, possibly some planting, mulching swales and paths and general routine maintenance. PDC Graduates Get Together Celebration Weekend

Permaculture Sydney Institute is calling all PDC graduates to a “Celebration Party and Get Together” to celebrate 40 years of Permaculture. And what better way is there to celebrate an anniversary birthday than to have a party! The get together weekend will be held at Bandusia Country Retreat in March where graduates will be able to relax, refresh, regroup, recalibrate, refocus and revitalize all around the theme of Permaculture.
