About Permaculture Sydney Institute
PSI is Sydney’s leading Permaculture and sustainable learning Centre. It provides cutting edge Permaculture courses, workshops, inspirational experiences and quality information and training.
It provides a full range of Permaculture and sustainability education, community development, and consultation services and outreach services for both town and country (Sydney, Hawkesbury and the Central Coast) and is based both in urban Sydney and rural St Albans.
Commitment beyond courses
Our courses have been known to transform peoples lives and landscapes. Like the seed, our training is just the beginning of your Permaculture journey and some nurturing may well be needed afterwards. PSI cares about your successful application of permaculture after your training. It is always there for advice and backup services in dealing with obstacles that can arise; it gives practical advice to assist.
PSI directors and trainers
PSI leading director Penny Pyett is a leader in the world of Permaculture. She is passionate about Permaculture and enabling people to lead more self-reliant, sustainable and productive, happy lives. She has a long track record and excellent reputation.
PSI engages only experienced, professional and accredited educators and specialists in their field and is committed to high standards of training and outcomes.
‘Bandusia’ Permaculture learning and demonstration centre.
Most workshops are at PSI’s rural base “Bandusia Country Retreat” – a place of beauty, abundance and peace nestled in a valley, the perfect place of rest and regeneration. Bandusia offers you a holistic experience where you can regenerate your body, mind and spirit while you learn how to sustainably regenerate your life and your landscape.
