What can a group of women do in just a few hours having never welded before? Well… heaps. The small but very enthusiastic group of welders learned how to weld and work with metal; practiced a bit, then welded a metal frame that was broken for one of the women’s Ute. And that’s not a job for a beginner! Cory, one of PSI’s Welding Trainers with his patient and gentle tuition was a big hit with the group guiding them through welding processes as well as explaining tools and techniques of welding and working with metal. They all felt they’d learnt the basics enough and confident enough to keep going at home – and that’s what we are striving to do here at PSI so we are all happy! Many thanks to Cory and Robert for running the workshop so perfectly.
