Permaculture Sydney Institute is proud to announce its new “Farm Share” project on Pumpkin Farm near St Albans, NSW.
The project aims to provide people with; access to land, access to knowledge and resources, access to training and education to provide individuals who are keen on developing their organic food growing skills with the opportunity to learn on their own patch of land!
We recognize for many, land ownership is not an option or it’s a big commitment. Many of us want to have our own space to grow our own food but don’t have access in the city or towns. This exciting project will provide people with the opportunity to have their own farm experience whilst also having access to help and support as its needed.
The project will offer a number of ¼ acre plots on a permaculture property, each plot will have its own water tank, compost bays and storage space, and be safely fenced from surrounding livestock. Successful applicants will need to have a permaculture mindset, be committed to the experience and be willing to contribute financially to their Farm patch.
