Under the warm sunshine and blue skies we came together to celebrate our special day of the year and share Permaculture ideas, dreams, visions and solutions. The Permaculture Sydney Institute’s farm field day at Bandusia brought a range of people together from our local community of St Albans, the bioregional and the Permaculture movement.
Neighbours met neighbours, in some cases for the first time, to learn and share information and get to know others. New friendships were formed and future possibilities and plans were discussed. Visitors were inspired by the workshops, tours, talks and demos.
A local seed network evolved from the day along with the development of several new local workshops and events, business opportunities and partnerships. The Institute is quickly becoming a happening hub for Permies too who came from far and wide to be part of the event and help run workshops and activities for the day. Many thanks to all those who made it successful.
